Delivery & Returns

Postage & Packaging

Free first class delivery on orders over £40, some exceptions apply*. For orders under £40 P&P is just £2.95.

We only deliver to addresses in the UK.

We think that it is important that you receive your purchases as soon as possible so we aim to despatch orders within 24 hours (Monday - Friday) of receiving payment, subject to availability. Orders placed at weekends will normally be despatched on the next working day. You'll be notified of any anticipated delays via e-mail.

Wherever possible we use the first class Royal Mail service to deliver your purchases. *Some large length items are unavailable to be delivered via Royal Mail, these items will be delivered by DPD and will occur a £5.00 surcharge. 

Products that currently occur a surcharge are:

  • Wooden Metre Stick

Sewing Machines will be delivered by DPD, if you provide us with a mobile number, DPD will notify you of the approximate delivery time. 

We do not take responsibility for late or non delivery due to factors outside our control.

Store Pickup

You will be notified via email when your order is ready to collect from our store in Hatfield Heath, we aim to get your order ready for collection within 24 hours of your order being placed. 

Returns & Refunds Policy

We hope you will be delighted with your purchase from Rebecca Woollard Sewing School & Haberdashery. However, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied you may return the items within 28 days of purchase, at your expense and we will be happy to offer a refund, less our postage costs. When returning items you MUST contact us first - either call us on 07887 654717 or email customercare@rebeccashaberdashery.co.uk

We do not accept returns of items cut to length, made to measure and special order items unless faulty. Unused items must be returned in their original unopened packaging and in a saleable condition, with proof of purchase. Damaged, faulty or incomplete orders must be made within 7 days; no responsibility can be accepted after this period. This does not affect your statutory rights. Once we receive your return, we will credit you within 14 working days.

When returning items you are strongly recommended to obtain proof of posting as we cannot accept responsibility for parcels lostin transit.

In addition to our own Returns and Refunds Policy: under the Consumer Contract (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have 14 calendar days upon receiving any goods to cancel your order. When cancelling an order you can only cancel the entire order, no partial cancellations will be accepted. Where you exercise this statutory right to cancel, we will fully refund the price paid for the goods and the original delivery costs. The refund will be paid to you once we receive the goods in resaleable condition. In all cases of cancellation, the notification to us must be made in writing (e-mail counts as in writing) within 14 calendar days of you receiving the goods and should include the order number and details of the claim. Your email or letter will be deemed to have been received by us on the date you send it. The goods must be sent with their original, undamaged packaging and the original invoice.
